OlyBet entered France in October 2024 by taking over the licence held by FP OPÉRATEUR, the company that previously ran France Pari. The ANJ authorised the addition of the olybet.fr domain in a decision dated 7 March 2024, then the removal of the older france-pari.fr domains in June 2025. The result is a modern book, heavily focused on European football and basketball, with markedly faster navigation than its predecessor.

Market coverage

Football is the core of the offer: Ligue 1, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and UEFA competitions are covered with reasonable market depth (scorers, same-match combos, corners, cards). Basketball is the second strong suit, a legacy of the OlyBet group’s strong Eastern European footprint. Tennis, handball, rugby and winter sports are present but carry fewer side markets than the long-established French leaders.

Odds and margins

On headline Ligue 1 fixtures, the margins we recorded sit in the upper-middle of the licensed market, with an occasional edge on live basketball. On lower-profile fixtures the gap against the most aggressive operators widens. As everywhere in France, the turnover levy mechanically weighs on prices: no licensed operator escapes it.

Live betting and cash out

Live betting runs smoothly and market suspensions stay short on major fixtures. Cash out is offered on a wide share of singles and on part of the accumulators, but not systematically on the more exotic bet builders. A multi-screen view lets you follow several fixtures in parallel.
